Derby Eligibility Criteria
- FSH<8.9
- Females should be aged 23-42
- Man's BMI: advise BMI of <30 but MUST be <35 for sperm retrieval
- Female BMI >19 and <30
- Neither partner has living children from this or previous relationship
- Both be non-smokers
- UK resident eligible for NHS treatment

- Readings for Serum progesterone level
- Readings of Length of menstrual cycle
- Readings of Serum follicle stimulating hormone level
- Readings of Serum LH level
- Chlamydia Results
- Rubella Screening Test
- Semen Analysis
- Readings of Serum prolactin level
- Readings of Serum testosterone level
- Readings of Serum TSH level
CRH - Request semen analysis on ICE and tell the patient to call the lab to arrange an appointment (01246 512270).
Prolactin - Female: only if oglio- or amenorrhoeic.
Testosterone - Female: only if oglio- or amenorrhoeic, hirsutism, acne or BMI >30; and/or
Male: if reduced sperm count.
TSH - Female: only if oglio- or amenorrhoeic, hirsutism, BMI>30, thyroid disease or family history.
LH/FSH - Male: if reduced sperm count.

Nottingham Regular and Irregular Cycle Eligibility Criteria
- The couple must have been living together in a stable relationship for at least 3
- Failure to conceive after 1 year
- Females should be aged 23-42
- Female BMI >19 and <30
- Neither partner has living children from this or previous relationship
- Both be non-smokers
- UK resident eligible for NHS treatment

Day 1-5 FSH & LH
Mid-luteal progesterone 7 days prior to onset of menses (occurring every 24 to 35 days).
